The Stooges - Live in Detroit - 2003

Its hard to believe this show is eight years old already...even so, to me, the experience of the Stooges, live or otherwise, can be life changing. This is the sound of freedom. Purchase on DVD.

Being a very long term fan of the band,I was very unsure about the reunion of The Stooges until I saw this DVD. Words fail me.

They gave a magnificent performance in front of a delirous
home crowd. It took nearly thirty
years for the rest of the world catch up with them, and they didn't disappoint with this astonishing proformance.

The Stooges' London gigs of 2005 and 2010 are the best live sets I have ever seen, and I have watched many groups included Joy Division, The Clash, the E Street Band, the Stones, Jam, Tom Waits etc.

They are true originals. Beg, steal or borrow...

Thanks Rob...I have to say, I've seen Iggy so many times that when these guys got back together as a band, I chose NOT to go. How stupid. I've since watched entire sets online, and even watching on my computer screen they make the hair on my arms stand on end. Simply magnificent. And pretty much peerless.
