Documentary of Note: Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay


Fact mag reports: Industrial Soundtrack for the Urban Decay is a new documentary on the history of industrial music that’s due for release later this year.

Directed by Amélie Ravalec (who was behind 2012′s Paris/Berlin: 20 Years of Underground Techno) and Travis Collins, the film promises to “take you on a journey through the crumbling industrial cities of Europe to America’s thriving avant-garde scene” and features interviews with a roll call of key figures from the early days of the industrial subculture, including Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Test Dept, Clock DVA, NON and SPK.

Other talking heads tapped for the doc include V. Vale of RE/Search, Z’EV, Click Click, Sordide Sentimental, Hula, In the Nursery, Winterkälte/Hands Production, The Klinik/Dive, Ant Zen, Orphx and Prima Linea.
