Richard Hell called the other day. He was laughing when he said, "I really liked what you said about CBGB's…""What?" I started to giggle, "that CBGB'S is where I'll go when I die?"
"Yeah," Richard laughed even harder, "Only you are dumb enough to say that, and get away with it, but I really liked it."

When I saw this, I thought, "Oh no, not another maudlin tribute to CBGB. I'm pretty much over it." Then I read this and it made me laugh. A blowjob in a telephone booth? Life couldn't have been better.
I'm glad I stopped to read one more tribute. It was worth it.
