Text message from Keith while at the Ruts reunion/Paul Fox benefit show in London tonight:
"Yo man, watching Misty In Roots. Ruts on next. Uk Subs. Fuck me Charlie Harper cartoon character. x."
He called a little while later and gave me the rundown. Said the Ruts were fantastic, and Rollins was actually alright fronting them. He said the Damned were surprisngly good - surprising for him since he was never much of a fan. He liked it because he said it was pure nostalgia, but most of the bands (except the Ruts I expect) played about 6 songs each. So it was on & off. Just enough to enjoy each one (or not).
My t-shirt, badge & program(!) are in the post tomorrow. Nice one Keith! Wish I could have been there! If anyone out there happens to come across a recording of the show or knows where to get one, please contact me by leaving a comment. Thank you.
