Surprisingly, the recent event of Tom Snyder's death completely passed me by. To many people of a certain age, he will be remembered as the guy Dan Ackroyd used to imitate on Saturday Night Live. He will also be remembered as the talk show host who somewhat adventurously but cluelessly had the likes of John Lydon, the Clash & the Plasmatics (and many others) on his show during the punk/new wave era.
