A real estate agent to the stars, Linda Stein, was found murdered inside her Central Park apartment late last night, officials said.
Police discovered the body of Stein with blunt impact injuries to her head and neck at about 11 p.m. in her 18th floor apartment located at 965 Fifth Ave. between 77th and 78th Streets.
A suspect has not been identified, police officials said. There were no signs of forced entry and a murder weapon was not recovered from the scene, police said.
After managing rock groups such as the Ramones, Stein began a dynamic real estate career, matching clients like Madonna, Sting, Billy Joel, and Stephen Spielberg with high-end Manhattan apartments.

Stein, who worked for Prudential Douglas Elliman, was married for a time to music mogul, Seymour Stein (founder of Sire Records).
She survived two bouts with breast cancer.
"We don't really know what happened," Stein's daughter, Mandy Stein, said. "People are tirelessly working to find out."
