Last night's Liquid Liquid show at Santos was, despite the seeming lack of public fanfare, quite an occasion. The club was packed and the band played as if their lives depended on it. As smiles crossed their faces, their expressions betrayed a look of disbelief in the loud & vocal reception the crowd gave them before & after every song. What really struck me was how tight they were. They definitely don't sound like a band that plays together once every 6 or 7 years. Just fantastic...lets hope there's more to come.
