Ah, the footage from "Fridays," which I believe is the only live Jim Carroll Band footage that exists. I'm glad you found it; I have it on VHS and was going to go offer to dig it out if you were able to encode it.
That was a great show for bands. They let everyone play at least two songs, usually more.
Liz - From my perspective it hasn't been underreported. But then I pay more attention to this type of stuff than normal folks do. On the other hand, I'm surprised by the amount & tone of comments I've seen.
Caryn - There isn't much footage out there! I wish there were more. And you're right, Fridays was great for bands. I keep hoping it will appear sometime online to watch. There were several good cast members as well.
