Originally published at The New York Nobody Sings: In 1966, jazz tenor sax colossus Sonny Rollins released East Broadway Rundown on the Impulse! label. It would be his last album for a long 6 year period. On the free-jazz influenced album, his band included Jimmy Garrison, Elvin Jones, and Freddie Hubbard.
