Willie Mitchell - RIP. Ugh, this one is particularly sad for me. I LOVE Willie Mitchell records. Of course I love the Al Green records that he produced and is most known for, but nothing gets me moving like his 60's (mostly) instrumental recordings
for Hi Records. My sympathies go out to his family.The next time you're in Memphis, stop by Royal Recording and say hello to Willie's son Boo.
