With news of some Soft Boys vinyl reissues I thought it would be a good time to post about an interesting project involving record producer Joe Boyd, and Mr. Soft Boy himself, Robyn Hitchcock. For any readers on the left coast this is an opportunity to see something cool this month. From Mr. Boyd himself:
Robyn Hitchcock and I are taking our "CHINESE WHITE BICYCLES" show to those cities. Robyn sings, I talk and read - a song from Robyn is usually the punchline to each section of reading. We have taken this double-act to the Green Man and SXSW festivals and it seems to have gone down OK, so we're taking it on the road!
