A match made in heaven - Fales and Nightclubbing together at last

Via the Fales Library facebook page came the following good news today:

The Fales Library is delighted to announce that the archives of Go Nightclubbing, Ltd. are now a part of the Downtown New York Collection. Gonightclubbing, Ltd. includes footage shot by Emily Armstrong and Pat Ivers at punk and new wave clubs all over Manhattan between 1974-1984. Some 200 plus hours of sound and video from over 100 bands. It's the largest collection of live videos for NYC punk and new wave anywhere! Thanks to Pat and Emily for their support.

If you've never seen any of this footage before, keep an eye out for some specially themed events that will be sure to happen now that this collection is a permanent part of the library. Congratulations to Pat, Emily, and Marvin!
