Sam and Dave - Germany 1967 - Wow

In the mid to late 60's, you'd be hard pressed to find a more exciting live act than Sam & Dave. There's a reason words like incomparable were often used when describing them. With some help from some incredible backing bands (including the folks at Stax) they were capable of really blowing the roof off of whatever building they happened to be in. Here's a fantastic show recorded live in Offenbach, Germany, 1967. Typical of the review-style shows of the time, it's unbelievably joyous. These kind of live shows just don't exist anymore. The show also features guests including Linda Carr, Arthur Conley, and Lee Dorsey playing some tunes backed by the Sam & Dave orchestra. They're worth watching too. 12 tunes in all and completely worth the time.
