I'm glad a few of you have left comments with memories of the time & place. There certainly isn't much info available on a lot of NYC clubs from that time.
Wow!that goes back, my first visit summer '68 Chelsea Hotel $5 a night and I bought a Lambert, Hendricks and Ross album on St.Marks Place!

ReplyDeleteI spent so many weekend nights there so high back in 1970. Fun times with good friend.
ReplyDeleteI worked at the Gramophone around 68-69. Lots of music and late nights staying open until the Fillmore and the Circus closed.
