Roseland Ballroom to close in April according to Billboard

Billboard reports in an unconfirmed, but breaking story that the historic Roseland Ballroom will be closing its doors in April. The story is based on an "internal email" obtained by Billboard, but calls to Live Nation, and Roseland itself, for comment have gone unanswered at this time. Opened in New York in 1919, it's been in its current location since 1958. This place has weathered a lot of changes, but no longer...yet another nail goes into the cultural coffin.
