Emily & Pat now by Godlis |
Their video archive of hundreds of hours of live music performances has been acquired by New York University's Fales Library, Downtown Collection and is being digitally restored to its former glory. As regular readers of Stupefaction know, the two regularly write for the New York Times' East Village Local blog documenting this process, posting a rare video clip from a band every week and accompanying it with new interviews and stories.
All I can say is thank you, Emily & Pat, for giving us a peek into the music that has soundtracked your lives over the years, as well as your work!
