Well crafted and written...just an all-around excellent album that has given me renewed interest in this band.
Let My People Go by Darondo
An obscure bad ass from the Bay Area recovered by Ubiquity Records. If you like you Al Green with some funk and mystery then Darondo is for you. Look at that face...you know he's got stories to tell.
Looking forward to the Saint Etienne show on Monday at Irving Plaza.
