For those interested, Dennis "Machine Gun" Thompson (aka the MC5's kick ass drummer) has a blog that makes for some very cool reading: http://machinegunthompson.blogspot.com.
Dennis - been looking all over your web site, Facebook, and Twitter trying to find a way to contact you but this appears to be the only solution. So .... question, back in 1968 did you do some work for 'The Golden Toadstools', using a "nom de disc" of 'Water Puppy' ? This would have been with Merlin Jones and Wayne Branham. I ask because I've found a reference that the B-Side of their single, track called 'Weeping River', was co-written by the two people previously mentioned and 'Dennis Thompson'. If yes then I'd love to know more about who these peole were and your involvement with them.

Thanks for the heads up, KB... I have to say that I was unaware of the existence of Ron Asheton's New Order...
Have you checked out Ron, Machinegun and Deniz Tek's New Race? I really that cd it's on Machinegun's blog and You Tube also.
Yes, its been a long time but I know New Race, and Destroy All Monsters, and most of the later Detroit stuff.
