The Birds et Les Fleurs de Lys

I encourage you to check the Hound's post on the Birds (not the Byrds) today. As mentioned back in May, they (without Ron Wood) did a reunion show or two this year...Visit their official site for even more.

Now, how about someone find some more footage of Les Fleurs de Lys? Just for the hell of it, here they are in 1965 - I missed this somehow on previous searches.

The Birds to reunite for UK shows

In honor of some recently announced reunion dates, here's a couple of goodies from one of the sharper 60's UK mod bands that doesn't get much play in the US, the Birds. This is where Ron Wood got his start, but he will not be appearing with them, I'm sure. If you're a fan of the mod sounds, but haven't dug any deeper than say, the Creation or even the Who or Jam, I'd suggest starting with these guys, and also Les Fleur de Lys, and the Attack.
