She Paints Words In Red: stream entire new House of Love album!

The House of Love release their first full length album in two weeks, but they couldn't wait to share it. She Paints Words In Red is now available to stream in full via Cherry Red Records...thank you, Cherry Red! The album can be pre-ordered via the label here or Amazon here.

Keep up with the band via their Facebook page (including upcoming tour dates) rather than their website which seems to be gathering dust at the moment.

Preview new music from House of Love

As reported earlier today by Slicing Up Eyeballs, the House of Love are teasing a couple of tracks from their upcoming album, She Paints Words In Red, over on their Facebook page, and it sounds as if they haven't missed a step. While you're there, check out their great live version of the Stooges' "Now I Wanna Be Your Dog."

The new 12-track album will be released March 25 on Cherry Red Records, and is available directly from the label, or Amazon UK.

Stream bonus cuts from House of Love deluxe reissue

As mentioned back in October, Cherry Red Records is readying a mega-super-sexy reissue of the debut album from The House of Love. It will be available in early December. As a teaser, they've made a couple of the bonus tracks available on Soundcloud.

The House of Love deluxe reissue is available to order from Amazon here or direct from Cherry Red here.

"Hold On Me" would be recorded by the band, but shelved for about ten years until band leader Guy Chadwick released his one & only solo album in 1998 on the Setanta label. "I Don't Know Why I Love You" eventually was released as the band's second single once they had moved on from Creation Records to Fontana in 1989.
